A course qualifies only when the core learning can be completed without payment. Credentials and product access are checked separately.

The course must be free to complete.
SolveNook does not treat a preview, a trial, a promotional coupon or an audit-only fragment as a free course. The teaching sequence must be accessible without buying the course. When an optional certificate, lab, product or cloud resource costs money, that condition is shown separately.
This standard protects the learner from starting a course that later introduces an unavoidable payment step. It also keeps the directory useful internationally, where prices, trials and product access can vary.
Four statuses keep the catalog honest.
The public page looks free, but an account-level check is still needed for enrollment, exercises, assessment or credential access.
A required payment, trial, paid infrastructure, institution-only rule or incomplete free route prevents inclusion in the public directory.
The offer ended, moved or changed materially. A useful replacement may be linked, but the old course is not presented as active.
What we check before listing a course.
The provider name alone is not enough. Each record is reviewed at the individual-course level.

Registration, age, language and regional conditions are recorded when the provider makes them available.
- CredentialIs the badge or certificate also free?
A free course with a paid certificate does not qualify for the free-credential path.
- ResourcesDo exercises need paid APIs, credits, products or hardware?
Optional tools are described. Required purchases disqualify the course from the free-only catalog.
- ReviewWhen was the offer checked, and when is it due again?
Every course carries a last-verified date and a scheduled review date because provider conditions change.
Credentials are described precisely.
A completion certificate, digital badge, platform achievement and professional certification are not interchangeable. SolveNook uses the provider's current term and explains whether the credential itself is free. We do not convert a course badge into a certification claim.
Providers can change the offer.
A review date is evidence of when the page was checked, not a permanent guarantee. Learners should confirm the final enrollment page before committing time. Courses with overdue reviews can be removed from recommendations until checked again.
No provider controls the ranking.
Course order is based on beginner fit, practical relevance, clarity of free access and editorial usefulness. Provider names and trademarks belong to their owners. SolveNook is not an official training partner unless a page explicitly says otherwise.
