What Google teaches well.

Choose Google when you want a compact lesson before a deeper course. Its introductory courses suit learners who need a practical concept, not a long programming sequence.

Account and access

Course pages can be inspected publicly, but a free Google Skills account may be needed for saved progress and badges. Availability and language should be checked on the individual page.

Credential language

Selected courses advertise a badge. Do not assume that every Google Skills course, lab or challenge is free because credits and subscriptions exist elsewhere on the platform.

Compare before you commit.

For a broader beginner framework, compare Microsoft AI Fluency or Anthropic AI Fluency. For a longer credential path, compare IBM.
